pAs someone who has always been involved in the vintage Land-rover and other vehicles with a good off road capability, I have had to get reasonably good at carrying out repairs and modifications myself. They are a great vehicle for off-roading in or just to pass the time cruising around with the canvas top removed.nbsp;br /br /The really great thing about them is that they are very easy to work on, built like tanks, and remarkably cheap to ensure, particularly the older models. One of the negative points about the old 2.25 litre petrol models is that they are a little juicy on the gas. Edit this text .nbsp;br /br /I moved to the other side of the world where the trusty Land-rover is not that common. I really miss them. The good news is that I am returning to England later this year and will buy one again. Its really strange how an old lump of metal has such an enduring attraction for so many people.
